Healthy foods control blood sugar levels. Body requires glucose to produce energy, but high sugar levels can create diabetes and other health problems. Therefore, consuming right amount of sugar is very important for healthy functioning of the body. Healthy foods especially vegetables increases the functioning of immune system and prevents many diseases such as strokes, heart disease, diabetes, and Alzheimer’s disease.
